Founder

Victoria is a New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and a certified Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD). She has experience working with patients across the lifespan in both medical and educational settings.

Victoria has worked in a variety of settings including acute care and outpatient care facilities, schools, and private home-based settings. Pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders are her primary area of interest. Populations served include but are not limited to prematurity, medically complex infants and children, tongue-tie in breastfed infants, oral sensorimotor feeding, autism and cleft lip and palate.

Victoria understands that feeding difficulties can become very stressful, not only for the child but for the entire family. She utilizes tenants from various treatment protocols and personal experience to support children with sensory, motor and/or behavioral feeding challenges.

Victoria firmly believes in the importance of individualized, interdisciplinary care being the hallmark of quality therapy. She is always taking into consideration all factors of her patients’ lives to provide the most effective therapeutic services. She prides herself in her patience and willingness to provide education to all patients and caregivers at any possible opportunity.

Health & Safety

In an effort to maintain an environment centered around quality care, Siamo Stelle has number of safety policies and procedures as we continue to provide essential therapy services for your child.

The basic structure of Siamo Stelle inherently leads to a safer environment within our clinic. Our one-to-one therapy ensures someone is with each child at all times in order to give them full attention and facilitate safe interactions.

All center doors are locked at all times, which not only ensures security from outsiders but also protects our children who have a tendency to elope or wander.

As for our sickness policy, we require that parents/caregivers cancel treatment

sessions for the following reasons:

• Illness symptoms within the last 24 hours

• Fever: child must be fever free (no temperature greater than 101 degrees) for the last 24 hours

• Diarrhea: Five or more loose, watery stools within 24 hours

• Vomiting within the last 24 hours

• Sore throat or difficulty swallowing

• Rash or spots on skin; ringworm infection

• Severe itching

• Mouth sores

• Eye discharge

• Unusual nasal discharge

• Uncontrolled coughing
